Do you have a long-term caregiver and does she or he need a break? Or are you a caregiver yourself and you can’t handle it for long periods of time? Has your care leave ended? Empatico has the solution! If you want to have a break, we ensure that one of our employees lives with the person(s), for whom you provide care, for at least 1 month. We also offer this service for a longer period, when informal caregiving is no longer enough.
Work and care
Leaving your job or – temporarily – work less are often no options. An employer does not like long-term care leave, especially if the salary has to be paid in full or in part via a collective labour agreement. In addition, it is often difficult for your employer to find appropriate replacements. For your employer, it can be favourable to let you continue working without having to arrange and pay for a replacement. The costs (or part of it) of our employees are usually lower than the costs of replacing you at work.
